SPACE TRAINING

 

ETC’s NASTAR Center is the first FAA safety approved facility able to meet the training requirements for commercial human spaceflight, both suborbital and orbital. The NASTAR Center offers the closest spaceflight experience available on Earth. We utilize ETC‘s Phoenix Centrifuge , the most advanced flight simulation tool on the planet. The NASTAR Center’s Space Training Programs are uniquely positioned to support medical screening, spaceflight qualification and spaceflight training for crew, researchers and spaceflight participants.

 

The dynamic capabilities of the Phoenix Centrifuge allow aerospace vehicle developers to upload, fly and test their unique flight profiles. Paired with customizable cockpits and comprehensive training programs, the NASTAR Center provides an informative and “tangible” spaceflight experiences for government and commercial space organizations, and their clients.

The NASTAR 2-Day Spaceflight Participant Training Program is specifically designed to prepare future astronauts who wish to fly on upcoming commercial suborbital/orbital vehicles. The NASTAR 2-Day Space Training Program is extremely beneficial to prospective spaceflight participants because it helps trainees understand and manage the stresses imposed on their bodies during space flight.

The NASTAR 2-day Space Training Program is the closest spaceflight experience available on Earth due to the highly advanced nature of our aerospace training equipment. Trainees learn about the dynamics of space travel, the effects of G forces and practice comprehensive techniques used by NASA astronauts.

Aerospace Training for Future Suborbital Scientists
The NASTAR Suborbital Scientist Training Program provides space flight physiology training for prospective “Suborbital Scientist-Astronauts” wishing to fly experiments on upcoming suborbital space missions. The course includes an overview of the commercial space research industry and provides both altitude and space flight training to handle the physiological and psychological rigors of spaceflight. This program is perfect for researchers, scientists, and graduate students.

Commercial Suborbital Scientist Space Research
The coming era of commercial spaceflight will soon provide low-cost, frequent space access for projects and passengers. These first generation flights will soar to altitudes of 70-140 km with 3-5 minutes of micro-gravity. NASTAR Suborbital Scientist Training aids in understanding how to take advantage of these new “human-in-the-loop” Research & Education Mission (REM) opportunities, and offers both you and your organization a strong competitive advantage in the suborbital science research arena.
