ETC offers an Alternative Approach for Tactical Flight Training at the NASTAR Center in Southampton, PA, USA. The Alternative Approach provides complete, comprehensive training, including the physiological stresses of actual flight, taking into account each client’s unique set of specifications and Tactical Flight Training requirements.
 
The NASTAR Center’s in-house training systems include the ATFS-400 Phoenix, ATFS-300 Peregrine, and tactical aircraft Cockpit Modules in addition to other training devices. These state-of-the-art training systems are ideal for providing Tactical Flight Training to aircrew in the most realistic and cost effective manner and in accordance with client’s tailored training needs.

As an alternative to training in a live aircraft, the Authentic Tactical Fighting System (ATFS) simulators provide cost effective, realistic, ground based training for a wide variety of tactical training uses. The Authentic Tactical Fighting System offers the most comprehensive training available by offering a system with Extended Field of View (EFOV) visuals, high fidelity cockpits, authentic sound and the real physiological stresses of flight.
 
Each ATFS simulator provides the user with significant training advantages, and can be used in conjunction with existing programs or as part of a complete Aeromedical Training Center.

The AeroMedical Training Institute (AMTI) provides human factors training and curriculum development at the NASTAR Center for those without the in-house capabilities necessary to fulfill their aeromedical training requirements.
 
The NASTAR Center provides classroom space and a variety of training systems including the ATFS-400 for high-g and physiology training, the ATFS-300 for spatial disorientation and situational awareness training, an egress and post-egress trainer, and an altitude chamber.
