NASTAR Patch Contest Zero-G Case Study: Space

Case Study: Virgin Galactic Training

Client: Sir Richard Branson

Date: 12/3/2007

Billionaire Sir Richard Branson, Founder of the Virgin Group and space flight company, Virgin Galactic, trained for his Virgin Galactic SpaceShipTwo flight (expected to launch in 2010) at The NASTAR Center. So far, nearly 200 people, 18 to 88 years of age, have completed space training at The NASTAR Center. As limited knowledge exists on how the 'general public' will fare at 6 G's of force (6 times your body weight), research has also been collected on space flight participants. As of today, 94% are "GO" for launch!
