ETC’s NASTAR Center Conducts Aerospace Physiology Instructor Training for Egyptian Air Force


SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., June 8, 2011 —Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s (OTC Bulletin Board: ETCC.PK) (“ETC” or the “Company”) The NASTAR® Center, the premier commercial aerospace training and research center, completed a 5-day Aerospace Physiology Instructor Training Program for the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) on May 20th, 2011. This course was part of a series of courses for the EAF and was conducted by NASTAR Center’s Aeromedical Training Institute (AMTI) which provides aerospace physiology instruction and equipment operations training for flight surgeons, doctors and physiologists.
 
The EAF Aerospace Physiology Instructor Training Program was conducted over a 5 day period and covered many aspects of aerospace physiology training including altitude physiology, acceleration physiology health and wellness, stress management, and day and night vision.
 
Each subject area included academic instruction using AMTI’s advanced aviation physiology training curriculum and (where appropriate) hands on instruction. Since this course was an instructor training course, the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) trainees were also provided with course material, instructor guides and audiovisual materials to enable them to train their EAF aircrews in the latest procedures and techniques to help them perform effectively and safely in the aircraft.
