Students ages 8 to 13 are invited to Shoot for the Stars this summer in a special week-long camp program June 22-26, 2015 at the National Aerospace Training and Research (NASTAR) Center in Southampton, PA.
You can be a test pilot and rocket scientist for the week as you learn about:

  • How Airplanes fly
  • Newtown’s Laws of Motion
  • How Rockets Work

Students enrolled in this exciting camp will become Test Pilots as they perform experiments with a model of the first airplane to break the sound barrier – the Bell X1. Students will learn teamwork and skills needed to conduct a successful space mission, build balloon powered cars, construct and launch model rockets and more.
Shooting for the Stars participants will be eligible to earn gift cards to area theaters and restaurants. Transportation will be provided each day from the Bucks County CareerLink in Bristol to the NASTAR Center in Southampton. Lunches will be provided for participants.
