Robotics students from grades 4th-11th received a "hands-on" lesson with NASA Astronaut Dr. Dan Barry. Groups engaged in teamwork activities and used the flight simulators at the NASTAR Center to illustrate real-life applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) subjects.
The students were thrilled that The NASTAR Center is right in their backyard!

The National AeroSpace Training and Research (NASTAR) Center's University, also known as NASTAR U, is a collaborative effort to promote aerospace education opportunities for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs. The NASTAR Center's Aerospace Education courses are geared towards visitors of all ages.
